Today, as Tanya Horton and Annabella Fudge-Harman launch Horton & Harman Interiors, we invite you to step into their whimsical world of design, where aesthetics meet antics, and every room tells a tale.

Picture this: A cozy Dorset living room, bathed in the warm hues of creativity, with a scattering of colourful cushions and luxurious blankets, exposed wooden floorboards topped with cow hide rugs, and adorned with pieces so unique they practically have a personality of their own. It was in this very living room, that Horton & Harman Interiors was born.

Tanya, the seasoned design maestro, swears her most valuable lessons were learned not from textbooks but from the chaos of raising Annabella. "Motherhood is the original crash course in creativity," she chuckles, recalling the days when toddler tantrums were the ultimate stress tests for her design prowess.

Annabella, on the other hand, brings youthful exuberance to the mix. A recent graduate of the National Academy of Design, she's armed with the latest trends, tech-savvy ideas, and an unwavering determination to make her mark in the world of interiors. "My mum is my design Queen," Annabella confesses, "though sometimes her taste in scatter cushions is a bit suspect."

Together, they're a powerhouse team with a shared passion for injecting life into living spaces. What sets Horton & Harman Interiors apart isn't just their bespoke creations; it's the laughter and love infused into each design. "We believe that every home should resonate with the people who live in it and have a story to tell." Tanya says, surrounded by an assortment of eclectic chairs and ornate mirrors.

The duo compliment each other’s  talents perfectly, with Tanya's classic elegance and Annabella's contemporary flair in a harmonious dance of patterns and colour palettes. They are not frightened of using colour in their designs, “Childhood was a vibrant escapade within walls that refused to be mere magnolia bystanders.” Annabella explains, “Who needs the dull parade of whites and beiges when your world could be a dazzling spectrum? Mossy greens, dusky pinks, theatrical reds, and Mediterranean terracottas beckon—endless hues, each with its own story. While white and beige may claim their space, it's a missed chance for a home that could've been a mood-enhancing canvas of colors!"

Their latest project, Mole Hole, a barn conversion with a modern twist. Naturally, Horton and Harman didn't just convert the barn; they performed a design magic trick! This bespoke masterpiece laughs in the face of ordinary with stone floors that probably have their own fan club by now. The handmade furniture is so chic that even royalty is considering an upgrade. And let's talk about the copper-top kitchen – it's not just a cooking space; it's a culinary runway. With a La Cornue oven that probably whispers gourmet secrets and a cold room that's colder than your ex's heart, this barn is living its best life. The quarried floor tiles were practically mined with a golden pickaxe by elves specifically for this project. Oh, and the dual-aspect wood burner? It's not heating; it's throwing a cozy party in there!

Tucked away in a beautiful forest near Ringwood, Horton & Harman have set up base camp. It's not just a workshop; it's a symphony of saws and dreams, where beds and tables take center stage, and imagination steals the spotlight. Need a four-poster bed that's basically a cozy fortress with curtains? Check. Hosting a winter family feast? Enter the banquet table with so much detail, even your grandmother's fine china will be jealous. The possibilities are endless when it comes to creating stunning furniture, and Annabella and Tanya are here to help with any bespoke furniture your heart desires.

So, dear readers, if your living room is in need of a personality makeover, or if your bedroom is yearning for a touch of whimsy, look no further than Horton & Harman. Tanya and Annabella are ready to turn your space into a canvas of creativity, where antique wonders and bespoke brilliance collide. Here's to a year of laughter, love, and living rooms that tell a story.

Yours in bespoke creativity
